HOTEL LA COMTESSE | PARIS

The amazing view from our sunny balcony.

Power shower with window so you can look at the Eiffel Tower whilst naked lol

The glorious breakfast with 1 too many Nutella packets...

I knew my next visit to Paris would have to be in a beautiful hotel with French balconies and of course a view of the Eiffel Tower. Cliché, I know... but Hotel La Comtesse was exactly what I was looking for. It's located just a 10-minute walk from the tower in the heart of the 7th district - making it the perfect walking distance to most tourist landmarks (if you're up for long walks!).

The interior had a Marie Antoinette vibe to it with the historic pictures and stunning art on the ceilings. It also had some modern elements to it like the gorgeous abstract marble front desk and gold furnishings.

Now let's talk about the room...It was the perfect size for a 3-day city break, located on the top floor of a typical french building with loads of natural sun light flooding through the balcony doors. The marble bathroom had both a bath tub and a shower with a window that also looked out onto the Eiffel Tower. The bed was comfy AF. I don't know if I was just tired from all the walking but it was the best sleep I've had in ages. The balcony was small but perfect to enjoy the view of the city in the sun and the twinkling Eiffel Tower lights at night.

A continental breakfast is served buffet style in the cafe downstairs - they had everything from fruit salad to fromage, pancakes (with tiny Nutella packs) and the crispiest croissants still warm from the oven.

There's also a mini gym downstairs (that I said I'd use but didn't) along with a sauna room to detox in.

Lastly, the service at the hotel was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and helpful when we needed directions to everywhere! I'd 100% recommend staying here if you're planning a trip to Paris - it's surprisingly affordable too considering the location and view!
