20 November 2017

I may be a little early with this post but I've been doing my Christmas shopping early for the past couple of years and it is way less stressful!

People always tell me that I'm difficult to shop for because I always buy the things that I want straight away. I'm sure there are a lot of girls out there that do the same! These items are things that I love so I get not everyone will want them but I just wanted to give you guys some ideas on the type of presents to buy and where to shop them!

1. Gloves

It's only getting colder in London so gloves are a great gift for everyone - make sure to get touchscreen friendly ones as we're all glued to our phones! I love (and already have) this pair as I'm obsessed with the teddy bear trend but Topshop and Zara have an amazing glove collection right now!

2. Make-up Bag

I'm forever in need of more makeup bags and washbags - you can never have enough. They're great for storage and travel and they look cute on your dresser. Look in Oliver Bonas for the initial ones and Pop & Suki do amazing personalised ones!

3. Jewellery

Jewellery can be a bit of a personal one, you have to really know someone's taste when buying a necklace or pair of earrings. The coin necklace trend is huge right now as well as gold statement earrings - so you can't go wrong with brands like Missoma and Cinco Store when it comes to Jewellery.

4. Art

Another personal one here but also a really thoughtful one. If the person you're buying for is into their interiors then try to find out what kind art/prints they love and you're bound to find something they'll love on Society6Desenio and in Homesense.

5. All things Glossier.

I mean. It's cute packaging, great products and they now ship in the UK. If the person you're buying for is a Glossier fan girl then stock up on a few of their fave products - it will show that you've been paying attention! The balm dot com trio is a great one for everyone.

6. Candles

Everyone loves candles. They're cosy and they make your house smell amazing. They're not as complicated as picking out a perfume but it's still a thoughtful gift. If you're shopping for a candle fanatic then it's more than likely that a Diptyque or Overose candle will be on their list. If you're looking for candles on a smaller budget, Homesense always has an AMAZING collection to choose from.

7. Housewear

I'm talking everything from pyjamas to fluffy dressing robes and cosy slippers. We all love a good Christmassy pair of pyjamas to mope around in on Boxing day whilst stuffing our faces with leftover chocolate. Marks & Spencer always have the best selection of PJs and the softest robes. If the person you're buying for loves novelty slippers, check out ASOS and Topshop for all the unicorn and sloth lovers. For the classic, luxury ones - check Emu and Homesense.

8. Perfume

This may be a bit of a boring one for some but it's rare for people to buy themselves perfume (especially if it's pricey) so Christmas is the perfect opportunity to get it for them. I'd snoop around and find out what perfume they love first as it's so difficult to pick for other people! Byredo is more on the luxury side but they have so many good scents to chose from - the packaging is a winner too.

I hope this guide helped you out with your Christmas shopping, or maybe you've just added more things to your own wishlists?
