I’m an introverted entrepeneur in my late 20s and I work with women who have dived into the freelance world and started their own businesses. It all started when I left my job in 2015 to become a freelance social media manager + content creator after years of running a lifestyle blog (which is thankfully no longer online!).
After doing the whole freelance thing for a while, I decided to turn it into a business, making loads of mistakes along the way (who doesn’t, right?). I worked endless hours in my pyjamas at home, burned out several times, and just wasn't in a good place mentally.
In 2017, I decided to set up a space for women like me who loved being self-employed but also needed human interaction and a decent place to work from. I opened The Work Club in 2018 and it’s now blossomed into a community of lovely, supportive women working together in a collaborative and social space.
So many of our conversations in the office revolved around us not having the time to manage every aspect of our business. This inspired me to redefine my services and make them accessible for women like us. Whether you're in the early stages of setting up a business and need guidance, or you're a few years in and ready to start outsourcing!
